Shipping Policy
At CITYWIDE DRINKS, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible shopping experience. We offer shipping within the United Kingdom only and do not ship internationally due to various legal and logistical constraints.
Please Note: Due to the nature of the goods we supply, any package large or small must require a signature upon receiving the goods.
Shipping Rates: Free Shipping on orders over £99. This will be on a standard 3-5 working days UK mainland delivery. This is only available on orders under 15kg. For non-Mainland customers or those in the highlands, there is no free shipping option.
Express Shipping Rate: For customers who require faster delivery, we offer an express shipping option at a rate of £9.99. This service typically takes 1-3 working days for delivery.
Next Working Day Rate: £9.99. Orders must be placed by 2 pm Monday - Friday for most of the UK Mainland.
STANDARD UK MAINLAND ORDERS
Standard Deliveries will be made within 3-5 working days of an order being placed & are charged at a standard rate of £4.95 for orders Under 3kg and £5.95 for orders Over 3kg. This weight is calculated at checkout.
STANDARD NON-UK MAINLAND ORDERS
We currently offer three Non-UK Mainland Delivery options with the following rates:
Scottish Highland & Islands - £15.99
Isle of Man - £15.99
Northern Ireland - £19.99
Scottish Highlands Postcodes are:
FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40 (excluding PA38), PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50
Scottish Islands Post Codes are:
HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3
Due to new Brexit-related Customs requirements, we are currently unable to deliver to the Channel Islands.
HEAVY/OVERSIZED DELIVERY
Due to increased delivery costs, we will now be charging for Heavy & Overweight Orders. Any Order that exceeds 30kg will be charged at £19.99.
Delivery Time: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days of receiving them. After dispatch, delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method you choose at checkout. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 working days, while express shipping takes 1-3 working days. Please note that delivery times may be affected by public holidays or unforeseen circumstances, and we will keep you updated on any delays.
Age Verification: As a responsible provider of alcohol, we are committed to ensuring that our products are only sold to individuals of legal drinking age. Therefore, we rigorously verify the age of all customers placing orders with us. By completing a purchase on our platform, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to buy alcohol in the UK.
We take this obligation seriously and reserve the right to request proof of age before fulfilling any orders. This may involve providing a valid form of identification upon delivery. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of age may result in the cancellation of your order and a refund issued accordingly.
Damage or Loss: We take great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. However, if your order is damaged or lost during transit, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Note: Items may not be shipped in original packaging due to fragility.
Returns: Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases where the product is defective or damaged. If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we will arrange for a replacement or refund.
